Each breath brings me closer to my truth

Breathwork

What Is Breathwork?

Breathwork is the ancient art and modern practice of remembering yourself.

It’s consciously working with your breath to support healing, release, and a return to who you’ve always been. It’s more than deep breathing, it’s a conversation with your body. When you start to use your awareness as a practice and tune into what your body is trying to tell you, we can start to heal on a deeper level.

We move through a world that teaches us to disconnect, to tighten, to push emotions down, to keep going when every part of us is asking for pause. We hold our breath without even noticing.

In a Breathwork session, we use intentional patterns of breathing to shift out of survival mode, soften the armor you didn’t know you were wearing, open the heart, and create space inside you to actually hear yourself. It can be gentle or intense, emotional or euphoric, grounding or wildly expansive. Sometimes it’s all of that at once.

Whether you’re here to release old trauma, ease anxiety, reconnect with your body, or simply find a moment of peace, your breath will meet you exactly where you are.

This isn’t about fixing you. You were never broken.

This is about remembering. This is about coming home to yourself.

Come as you are. Leave with more of who you’ve always been.

Heather Arias
Certified Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitator and Space Holder

With over two decades of holistic wellness study, embodiment and a deep reverence for the body’s innate intelligence Heather created Mycelium Wellness. A place for remembrance of breath, of truth, of wholeness. A certified trauma-informed breathwork facilitator, mother and lifelong student of nature, Heather guides others in reconnecting to themselves through the power of breath, curiosity and presence.

Becoming a mother cracked Heather open in both the most beautiful and the most challenging ways. It was in the thick of sleep deprivation, identity shifts and the tender chaos of raising two boys that she began leaning into breathwork as a daily anchor. A way to return home to herself in the smallest pockets of time. Breath became her medicine, her reset button, and her reminder that healing is not outside of us it lives within.

Now, she shares that medicine with others. Her approach is gentle yet powerful, intuitive yet grounded, weaving science-backed breath practices with compassion, somatics, and nervous system education. Each session with Heather is an invitation to slow down, feel deeply, and remember the wisdom you carry within.

Whether working with individuals, groups, or organizations, Heather holds space with integrity, creativity, and care believing that healing doesn’t have to be rigid or rushed. It can be playful, messy, sacred and uniquely yours.
